This week is filled with excitement for the Thanksgiving holiday. This is a special time to reflect on our many blessings, to celebrate our many talents and gifts, and to appreciate the amazing school community we share. This morning our 6th graders led the Mass in the school chapel, followed by communion throughout the school and Thanksgiving blessings given by Father Marek. Our PreK 4 was busy with many turkey activities, and Kindergarten and 6th Grade Prayer Partners gathered for a special Thanksgiving craft. Our 2nd graders engaged in a STEM project to build a Thanksgiving table out of a certain number of popsicle sticks and blocks that would hold all of the Thanksgiving food without overlapping. Our little engineers did a fabulous job creating blueprints, measuring, constructing and redesigning!  Father Pedro and I, and our faculty and staff, give thanks for our school families who, through their values and faith, support our school mission and model our vision to educate students, not only as scholars, but as children of God spreading love and kindness. Joy, happiness, and health are my wishes for all members of our school community this Thanksgiving and always…Mrs. Kobrin
