Students are encouraged and taught right from Kindergarten to extend themselves. Using Technology as a tool to enable students to meet challenging state academic standards is now a requirement if they are to succeed. The skills our students learn will no doubt be used for the rest of their lives. We are preparing them for a journey that will be met with challenges and opportunities, whether it’s in the next grade, high school, college and eventually the job market. To ensure we are teaching them the right skills we need to:

  • Communicate with each other.
  • Speak with higher learning institutions to ensure we are providing students with the right tools.
  • Expose our students to as many tools as possible, so when they need something, they can reach into their bag of tricks and get the job done.

We may not make the students experts in everything, but our responsibility is to make them aware of the tools available for them to be successful.
