December is off to a great start! On Sunday, we had Blessing of the Athletes at the 12:00 Mass followed by cookies and hot chocolate! Monday was Saint Nicholas Day, and children were thrilled to discover little treats in the shoes they left outside the classroom! Tuesday, Father Pedro visited all of the classrooms prior to us being off for the Immaculate Conception. Our 4th graders created a beautiful Christmas Tree Advent Calendar, and we have all been celebrating the season of Advent with prayerful hearts. 7th graders worked on iron oxidation exothermic reactions in the science lab. Friday was filled with a buzz of excitement as children visited the Santa Shop to purchase gifts for their loved ones.
