Kindergarten predicted that March would come in like a LAMB, and thankfully, they were right! Hmmm, unused snow days will come in handy!
On March 2nd PreK 4-Grade 2 celebrated Dr. Seuss Day! Oh what fun they had eating green eggs and ham and lots of other funny treats.
In Science, our 8th Graders have been busy building volcanoes and our 6th Graders continue working on the Artemis Project and testing out the Lunar Rover using our Photon robots!
Students in Grade 7 became the teachers this week! Student groups analyzed, studied, and planned the lessons for the Federalist Era. They were excellent teachers and definitely have a new appreciation for all that teachers do!
Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Basketball Team for taking home the Championship this past weekend! What a great season and we are so proud of them! Congratulations to CJ for being named the MVP!
We also congratulate our JV Boys Basketball Team for taking 2nd place in their division in the Monmouth Ocean Parochial League, along with KJ who was named the 2nd MVP of the game! Special thanks go out to all of our coaches who commit so much time, energy and love to our SPS athletes!
Finally, just thought I’d share that I was recognized by the Diocese of Trenton, along with four other principals, for completing a year long course of study through the Villanova School of Business in Catholic School Management. We received our certification from Villanova representatives and celebrated at the Department of Catholic Schools.
Continued wishes for a blessed Lenten season…Mrs. Kobrin
