Almost November - already!
This coming month in Math - we will be working on: Front End Estimation, adding with re-grouping, Four digit addition, Subtracting with re-grouping. Zero's in Subtraction
In ELA We just completed a "How To" writing piece. We wrote about "How To Build a Scarecrow." We are practicing Imaginary Writing! In Grammar we are looking at similes, proper nouns, common nouns, singular and plural nouns and personal pronouns.
In Religion: We have completed our "Make your own Rosary Project", they are beautiful. Well Done Grade 4!
We have started using our Studio 3:16 program.
3:16 is a supplementary resource for 2nd-8th grade Catholic school religion classes. It incorporates Scripture, music, the arts, humor, and storytelling. The show's writers guild is made up of students who revise every lesson video storyline to ensure the content is relevant, entertaining, educational, and fun.
-Right now we are learning about -
Science: We are learning about the Plant Life Cycle- we will be dissecting a pumpkin to plant our seeds and record their growth journey.
Social Studies- We are very excited to start learning about our Leni Lenape friends! We will be watching videos to see how they hunted, grew crops, and foraged.
We will study what men's and women's roles were, how they felt about religion, as well as, how they made use of everything in nature to make their homes and survive.
