Whether you're an avid runner, a weekend warrior, enjoy a leisurely jog or just a boardwalk stroll, the Fisherman's 5K offers something for everyone. Our race committee has taken great care crafting a day in which the whole family can participate!
Competitive racers will appreciate long, fast straight-aways featuring a minimum of turns and bends. Recreational runners and walkers alike can explore the variety of neighborhoods and scenic lake views that highlight the best of Pt. Pleasant Beach. And of course, all participants will enjoy the breathtaking panorama of our mile-long Pt. Pleasant boardwalk,the same place your parents took you as a kid!
Speaking of kids - the Fisherman's 5K isn't only for mom and dad. Before the grown-ups take to the course, youngsters ages 3 to 12 will have their very own "Day at the Races" around the perimeter of St. Peter School– where every kid is a WINNER! They even get the medal to prove it!
This event is sure to bring out the kid in everyone! And all proceeds go towards enriching the educational and spiritual experience of the children at St. Peter School!
